Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior quality engineer to lead the design, test, and manufacture quality initiatives across engine production. You will implement robust quality processes, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and reliability of spaceflight systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, ownership, and adaptability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering with 7+ years of relevant Quality or Engineering experience.
• Quality experience in production environments, preferably aerospace or space/defense.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and related quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes for development and production.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and NCRs.
• Perform periodic audits of the quality system per AS9100.
• Participate in design reviews to improve quality and manufacturability.
