Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring an Engine Assembly Responsible Engineer for the Propulsion Integrated Design team. You will own Aeon-R engine layouts, design integration hardware, and drive optimal configurations with cross‑functional teams to ship engines at increasing rate.

You will lead CAD models, mass projections, and interface diagrams while collaborating with vehicle and test stand partners to manage configuration changes and ensure manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a STEM field.
• 5+ years experience in fluid or structural design.
• Strong CAD skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with CAD software (NX) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall layout and packaging of Aeon-R engines across development and production configurations.
• Design and analyze final integration hardware such as primary/secondary structures and tubing.
• Collaborate with Propulsion teams to drive optimal engine designs.
• Lead conceptual design and layouts for new/upgraded engine configurations.
• Own top-level CAD models and mass projections for Aeon-R engines.
