Our Miller Hill location is now seeking a Senior Engagement Specialist (Teller) to join our team. This professional, member-focused, and detailed-oriented individual handles financial transactions, opens foundational accounts, and builds strong relationships with members. Our goal is to provide excellent service by promoting credit union products, answering inquiries, and educating members on policies and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of service to all credit union members.
  • Identify members’ financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Execute accurate financial transactions.
  • Leverage MCCU resources to remain current with credit union policies, procedures, products and services.
  • Interact with and support other team members.
  • Provide guidance on MCCU and Branch culture to ensure alignment with organizational values and expectations.
  • Effectively work to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to act quickly and decisively when unforeseen circumstances arise.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of experience in customer service or sales
  • Previous experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and success completing work with accuracy
  • Proficient in using Sheets, Excel, and Templates for scheduling
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving
  • Comfortable working with the public and escalated member concerns
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively

Schedule

  • Schedule will vary, Monday – Friday 7:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. -12 p.m.
  • Full-time
  • Non-exempt
  • Starting pay range: $20-$23/hr, pay commensurate with experience
