Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Principal Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of our largest Healthcare and Life Sciences transformation programs. You will orchestrate 50+ person teams of AWS builders, partners and customers to deliver AI, data and enterprise modernization outcomes across multiple concurrent workstreams.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, program governance, measurable business outcomes and a bias toward high velocity, quality, and scalable

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture trusted executive relationships (VP+), delivering strategic counsel on program direction, health, risks, and trade-offs to inform executive decisions
• Proactively manage interdependencies, mitigate risks, and drive accountability for program outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
• Orchestrate across customer lines of business, IT, and partner teams simultaneously, aligning stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and definitions of success, escalating blockers where necessary for resolution
• Define and track measurable customer business outcomes (e.g., time-to-market acceleration) as the north star for program success, translating delivery progress into executive-ready narratives
• Own the program financial health, including forecasting, revenue recognition, commercial management, change requests, and scope management for fixed-price, milestone-based delivery
• Influence human and agent builder teams, establishing operating models and AI guardrails as delivery incorporates AI-enabled development workflows
• Drive adoption of AI-DLC methodologies across programs, establishing governance for AI-native builds and steering multi-agent systems at scale
