HDI Global Insurance Company is seeking an Executive Underwriter, Energy, to lead underwriting of complex energy risks and contribute to portfolio growth. This role is based in Houston or New York with a focus on energy, including renewables and traditional sectors.

The candidate will have deep energy underwriting experience, strong client/broker relationship skills, and willingness to travel. Multinational teamwork and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in energy underwriting across oil & gas, power, and renewables.
• 10+ years in commercial underwriting focusing on energy risks.
• Willingness to travel for client/broker meetings and cross-border collaboration.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of complex energy accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
• Analyze risk exposures and tailor coverage solutions.
• Collaborate with global underwriting teams on large or specialized accounts.
• Monitor market trends to inform underwriting strategies.
