Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Executive Underwriter for Energy Construction & Renewables to lead underwriting of complex energy projects, focusing on utility-scale and distributed renewables. The role drives growth in our energy portfolio and requires strong client and broker engagement.

You will collaborate with global underwriting teams, assess risk exposures, and shape underwriting strategies for energy transition risks. Travel is expected to client sites and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of underwriting experience in energy construction/renewables.
• CPCU or similar certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel for client, broker, and project meetings.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of complex energy construction and renewable accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to drive profitable growth.
• Analyze construction, operational, and project-specific risk exposures and coverage needs.
• Collaborate with global underwriting teams on large, complex energy accounts.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to underwriting strategies and product offerings.
