Job summary

Trellis Energy in Houston is seeking a Senior Consultant to support in-house product development, customer implementations, and new business opportunities in the energy SaaS space. You will interact with users, developers, sales, and management, presenting the product and defining feature requirements, test scenarios, and process flows.

The role requires 5–15 years in Oil & Gas software implementations, a BS in CS/MIS/Business/Engineering, and strong SDLC and requirements gathering skills.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience with Oil & Gas software system implementations.
• Consulting experience in the energy sector.
• Undergraduate degree in CS, MIS, Business, or Engineering.
• Deep understanding of midstream/upstream/downstream O&G segments.
• Product implementation at customer sites and full SDLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Trellis software and become a product expert.
• Lead requirements sessions and client demos.
• Document new business requirements and workflows.
• Develop and maintain requirements, processes, and test data.
• Provide hands-on testing and support to users.
• Collaborate on the product roadmap and change adoption.
• Read and document contracts, tariffs, and services.
• Present product improvements based on user feedback.
