Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Power Market Strategy & Analysis specialist to drive energy procurement strategies for campus-scale deployments.

You will evaluate utility options, analyze ERCOT and other markets, track prices and capacity, and support regulatory engagements.

This role partners with Development, Finance, Construction, Legal, Utility Infrastructure, and Operations to optimize power cost and reliability for our data center footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field required.
• 3–7 years of experience in utilities, IPPs, or energy procurement.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale electricity markets.
• Advanced Excel modeling and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze power markets across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, and other regions.
• Support utility engagements, tariffs, rate structures, and load growth programs.
• Lead data room and due diligence for energy procurement projects.
• Develop briefing materials for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Provide regulatory updates affecting power delivery and capacity markets.
