Aligned Data Centers, LLC in Texas is seeking a Power Market Strategy & Analysis professional to evaluate utility service options, analyze power market developments across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, and SPP, and track prices, congestion, and capacity market trends to support data center power procurement.

You will also support utility engagement, tariff analysis, load growth programs, and energy transactions, while developing briefing materials for leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Economics, Finance, Energy Management or related field.
3–7 years of experience in utilities, energy procurement or power markets.
Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets, rate structures and capacity products.
Experience with ERCOT, PJM, MISO or SPP is preferred.
Advanced Excel modeling and proficiency with Power BI/Tableau.
Familiarity with PPA, TSA, capacity products, and transmission arrangements.

Responsabilidades

Evaluate utility service options, generation alternatives, and power supply structures.
Analyze power market developments across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP and other regions.
Track power prices, basis trends, congestion patterns, capacity markets and resource adequacy.
Support utility engagement, tariffs, interconnection requirements and load growth programs.
Monitor regulatory proceedings and prepare briefing materials for stakeholders.
Support energy procurement initiatives including utility/service agreements and power & capacity purchases.
Develop site strategy materials and contribute to cross-functional teams (Development, Finance, Construction, Legal, Operations).
