You will collaborate with trading, origination, and risk management teams, enhancing forecasting, pricing, and decision support tools with Python and R.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; 4+ years of experience in energy markets or quantitative analysis preferred.
• Proficiency in Python or R with strong modeling and coding skills.
• Understanding of power systems, optimization, and market data analysis is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mathematical models for renewable generation, storage, and traditional assets.
• Implement and improve optimization algorithms using Python/R and Excel.
• Interpret model valuations with trading/origination teams and assist pricing of transactions.
• Design risk management tools to assess company exposure and risk profiles.
