Job summary

The Efficiency Network, Inc. (TEN) is seeking an Energy (Project) Engineer to lead technical delivery of energy projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

You will engineer projects from feasibility through design and into construction, ensuring performance and regulatory compliance while reducing utility costs and maintenance expenses. The role is based at TEN’s headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Architectural, or Energy Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of energy audits, energy efficiency or DER project delivery.
• Proficiency with energy modeling tools and Excel analysis.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and ECMs.
• Experience with project management fundamentals and subcontractor scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of energy projects from feasibility to construction.
• Develop feasibility studies, savings analyses, and business cases (NPV/IRR).
• Create and calibrate energy models and perform scenario analyses for DERs.
• Produce engineering deliverables and ensure code compliance and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and utilities.
• Assist with M&V plans, commissioning, and post-implementation reports.
