Job summary

Veregy in Lawrenceville, NJ is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead energy conservation and facility improvement projects. You will identify and develop ECMs and FIMs, coordinate with operations, and ensure accurate scopes of work, energy savings, and M&V plans to support guaranteed energy savings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, has 10+ years in energy projects, and a PE license; Certified Energy Manager credentials are highly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in energy-related field with experience in developing Energy Conservation Measures.
• Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates regularly with all team members regarding project development progress, open and closed tasks and issues.
• Analyze facility utility consumption, review budgets, set preliminary performance targets and benchmark energy savings.
• Create a development timeline, budget, and project development control index.
• Develop Scopes of Work, Specifications and Preliminary Implementation Schedule.
