Job summary

Veregy is a decarbonization company delivering energy efficiency upgrades, smart building tech, and sustainable infrastructure for clients in the United States. The Project Engineer III leads ECM/FIM development, coordinates cross‑functional teams, and ensures energy savings and M&V plans meet guarantees.

The role requires a engineering degree, 10+ years in energy projects, and strong communication to craft precise scopes and schedules. Office‑based with site visits; travel <20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 10+ years experience in energy-related field with experience in developing Energy Conservation Measures.
• Professional Engineer Licensure; Certified Energy Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project development progress with team.
• Analyze facility utility consumption and energy savings benchmarking.
• Identify preliminary scopes via facility walk-through.
• Develop detailed Scopes of Work, Specifications and Implementation Schedule.
• Coordinate bids from subcontractors and review submittals.
• Validate Energy Savings Guarantee and M&V Plan.
• Support Final Contract preparation and turnover meetings.
