Job summary

QB Energy is seeking a Procurement Manager to partner with Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Construction, and Production Operations on QB’s multi‑billion dollar spend—going beyond bidding to identify investment opportunities, adopt new tools, and mentor the team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in oil & gas procurement/supply chain, with 3–4+ years leading sourcing or contract negotiations, strong negotiation skills, and willingness to travel to field locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 10+ years of oil & gas procurement/supply chain experience, including 3–4+ years leading sourcing or contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiations for QB’s largest spend categories.
• Monitor market costs/trends and manage vendor relationships to drive outcomes beyond price.
• Standardize specs with technical teams and maintain visibility into logistics-yard inventory for sourcing decisions.
• Track cost, cycle time, and vendor performance metrics, and manage/mentor procurement staff.
• Oversee PO/contract approvals and OpenInvoice accuracy, ensuring sourcing/OSHA compliance.
