Job summary

QB Energy seeks a Procurement Manager to partner with Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Construction, and Production Operations on multi-billion spend. You’ll lead sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiations, identify investment opportunities, and mentor the team.

Requirements include a 10+ year oil & gas procurement background, strong negotiation and communication, Excel/OpenInvoice proficiency, and willingness to travel to field locations. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field or equivalent.
10+ years of oil & gas procurement/supply chain experience with 3–4+ years leading sourcing or contract negotiation.
Strong negotiation and communication skills and ability to build strategic vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiations for QB’s largest spend categories.
Monitor market costs/trends and manage vendor relationships to drive outcomes beyond price.
Standardize specs with technical teams and maintain visibility into inventory for sourcing decisions.
Track cost, cycle time, and vendor performance and mentor procurement staff.
Oversee PO/contract approvals and OpenInvoice accuracy, ensuring sourcing/OSHA compliance.
