Job summary
The Brewer-Garrett Company in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to lead energy conservation and efficiency projects for large facilities nationwide.
You will conduct energy audits, analyze utility data, and design HVAC/building automation and renewable systems while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with sales, engineering, and project management teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of energy engineering experience with expertise in HVAC, building automation, renewable energy, or central plant design.
- Experience across multiple sectors (healthcare, education, government, or industrial) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, design, and implementation of energy conservation projects for large facilities.
- Conduct energy audits, analyze utility data, and develop energy and cost-savings calculations.
- Collaborate with internal teams throughout design and delivery.
- Present technical findings and project recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging energy technologies, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Energy Engineers and project team members.
- Support project execution from concept through completion with quality deliverables.
