USL Technology Consulting Inc. (USLT) is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer with 7+ years of experience in energy engineering, building performance, energy audits, and sustainability consulting.

You will lead technical delivery for NYC Local Law 87 audits, ASHRAE Level II audits, and life-cycle analyses, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. You will mentor junior staff, review deliverables, and develop ECMs, with a focus on energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization strategies

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Engineering, ENV-related field.
• 7+ years in energy engineering, building performance, audits, commissioning or sustainability consulting.
• Extensive experience with NYC Local Law 87 and ASHRAE Level II audits.
• Proficiency in energy modeling with DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus.
• Familiarity with lifecycle-cost analysis (SIR, NPV) and RSMeans cost estimating.
• LEED v4/v4.1 knowledge; LEED AP BD+C preferred.
• Experience with Revit and BIM workflows; strong technical writing.

Aufgaben

• Lead whole-building energy modeling and performance analyses for projects.
• Conduct NYC Local Law 87/ASHRAE Level II audits, site visits, and data analysis.
• Develop and evaluate ECMs/RCMs/OM&M; perform savings calculations and payback analyses.
• Prepare and review LCAs, RSMeans estimates, and lifecycle-cost documents.
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate with A/E teams, and mentor junior staff.
• Ensure QA/QC and manage client deliverables and project schedules.
