Position: Sr. Mechanical Energy Engineer - NYC

We seek a Senior Energy Engineer capable of leading an engineering team, providing project management oversight for energy audits, retro-commissioning, construction review, and energy incentive programs for local utility, state, and federal agencies (e.g., ConEd, NYSERDA). The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can deliver high value with minimal oversight and collaborate directly with senior client stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering consulting experience in the energy efficiency sector
• PE, CEM, or similar credentials
• Knowledge of energy audit and retro-commissioning processes and practices
• Experience with Building Management Systems/BAS
• Knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart)
• Understanding of energy project finance and funding methods
• Team and project management experience
