Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, or closely related field.
• At least five years in building energy assessments or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, controls, and energy-using systems.
• Ability to develop and review engineering calculations.
• Strong Excel skills and clear technical writing.
• Willingness to travel to Rochester-area facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct site assessments of energy-using systems.
• Review utility bills and data to identify savings opportunities.
• Calculate energy savings using program methods and engineering calculations.
• Prepare concise reports and technical summaries.
• Communicate findings to customers, contractors, and staff.
• Support project development and follow-up on implemented measures.
