Job summary
McCann & Braham is seeking a Senior Derivatives Trader based in Houston to help build and scale its derivatives trading capability. You will develop trading strategies, identify opportunities across crude and/or refined products, and own risk and P&L within an established energy business with significant physical operations.
The ideal candidate combines physical and derivatives trading experience with strong commercial judgement and disciplined risk management.
Qualifications
- Energy trading experience with direct P&L responsibility.
- Experience in crude and/or refined products markets.
- Sound commercial judgement and disciplined risk management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to build and develop a trading business.
Responsibilities
- Develop trading strategies for crude and/or refined products.
- Identify and execute opportunities across energy markets.
- Own risk and P&L for the trading desk.
- Collaborate with physical trading teams to translate flows into profitable trades.
