Job summary

Texas Capital Bank in Dallas seeks an Energy Corporate Banking Analyst III (Upstream/E&P) to deliver high‑quality financial modeling, underwriting support and execution deliverables.

You will work with Associates, VPs and Senior Bankers to support origination, structuring and financing for public and private E&P clients, including RBL and capital markets.

Candidates should have 2.5–3.5 years of relevant experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Energy Commerce, Engineering.
  • 2.5–3.5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Energy Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Private Credit.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, comps, borrowing base) and Excel-based analytics.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, prospect discussions, internal committees, and capital markets interactions.
  • Build cash-flow models, borrowing base models, and portfolio monitoring analyses; support diligence and documentation.
  • Assist in diligence coordination, covenant assessments, and internal approval processes.
  • Collaborate with risk, engineering, capital markets, and sales & trading teams to ensure coordinated transaction execution.
