Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a senior mechanical/energy engineer to lead energy optimization across the store portfolio. The role involves analyzing energy use, reviewing HVAC and control systems, and guiding capital projects from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, energy engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in mechanical or energy engineering or related building systems.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-site retail facilities preferred.
• Familiarity with building automation, EMS/BAS, and energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify ways to improve energy use across the enterprise.
• Review mechanical, HVAC, and controls drawings for stores and capital projects.
• Monitor EMS/BAS and troubleshoot HVAC/controls issues.
• Provide end-to-end project management for capital projects and support sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Construction, Store Design, Architects, and Engineers of Record (EORs).
