Job summary

Process Engineering Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Energetics Materials Process Lead Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN to perform process engineering and design across government and commercial energetics materials, including explosives, munitions and propellants production.

The role involves process simulation, coordinating engineering efforts with clients, and providing project management coordination to the Oak Ridge office team.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical engineering from an accredited university.
• Advanced degrees (MS or MBA) and professional registration are a plus but not required.
• 10+ years of combined plant operations, process design and/or project management experience.
• Ideal experience includes some process simulation and a variety of chemicals manufacturing environments (batch and continuous).
• Candidate must have explosives/munitions or propellant process design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering and design projects for government and commercial energetics materials, explosives, munitions, and propellants production.
• Coordinate engineering efforts with clients and other engineers in the Oak Ridge, TN office.
• Provide project management coordination as needed.
