Job summary

Search Services is seeking a hands-on Senior Endur Technologist to join its world-class Trading and Risk Management practice. The role focuses on Java-based, enterprise-wide solutions within the OpenLink Endur/ETRM stack, delivering technical leadership and tangible business value for gas, power and emissions trading.

You will translate user needs into robust designs, partner with traders and global technologists, and drive improvements in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of development experience.
• Strong technical expertise in Java and OpenLink Endur/Connex Frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server).
• 7+ years’ experience with ETRM systems (Endur – OpenLink).
• Experience with REST, JSON, Protobuf, Spring Boot, and Drop Wizard.
• DevOps practices using Jira, JUnit, GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, Kibana, Prometheus.
• Cloud exposure with AWS or Azure in a hybrid environment.
• Significant work experience within energy trading and risk management.
• Knowledge of US/Canadian Natural gas, Power, and emissions trading domain.
• Familiarity with curve modeling and volatility setup.

Responsibilities

• Hands on development role with technical lead responsibilities.
• Work closely with business users to understand processes and capture requirements.
• Actively seek to identify and drive improvements and innovation.
• Acquire business and system knowledge to further development.
• Work with the OpenLink platform stack and integrate with the Global Commodities application stack.
• Demonstrate drive, be goal-oriented, and self-sufficient under pressure.
• Design and develop a technology stack leveraging existing platforms and building new ones.
• Interact with Traders and business users to understand new requirements for applications across the platform, focused on trade modelling and lifecycle.
• Increase productivity of technology teams and maximize operational efficiency.
