Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer to support NGA missions with robust endpoint protection and security operations. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, plus the ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support within 6 months.

You will design and sustain endpoint security, collaborate with teams, and enhance overall cyber defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; willing to pass a DoD polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) required.
• Ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with strong endpoint security engineering background.
• Hands-on with HBSS, Carbon Black, Microsoft ATA, Tanium.
• Proficiency in Linux administration.
• Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework and enterprise cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support endpoint security solutions for mission-critical networks and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain enterprise security technologies.
• Recommend hardware/software tools to improve endpoint security posture.
• Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to integrate security platforms.
• Manage Linux-based security tools and perform advanced configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support incident response by analyzing security events and leading mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
