Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer to support NGA missions with robust endpoint protection and security operations. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, plus the ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support within 6 months.

You will design and sustain endpoint security, collaborate with teams, and enhance overall cyber defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; willing to pass a DoD polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) required.
• Ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with strong endpoint security engineering background.
• Hands-on with HBSS, Carbon Black, Microsoft ATA, Tanium.
• Proficiency in Linux administration.
• Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework and enterprise cybersecurity practices.

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance (must be willing to pass a post-hire Government polygraph)

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)

• Ability to obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a strong background in endpoint security engineering

• Hands‑on experience with tools such as HBSS, Carbon Black, Microsoft ATA, Tanium

• Proficiency in Linux administration

• Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework and enterprise-scale cybersecurity practices

Nice to Have:

• Active CSSP Infrastructure Support certification.

• Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+).

• Experience with Windows AD architecture and VMware environments.
