CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to dive into endpoint products, identify design and implementation flaws, and help engineers ship secure code. You will assess Linux apps, read code, and think like a hacker to fix issues before production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, ideally in security.
• Experience programming in or assessing security of C/C++ apps for Linux.
• Proficiency with Linux system internals and security features.
• Comfort with concurrency in multi-threaded applications.
• Understanding of containerization and virtualization security implications.
• Knowledge of Agile/DevOps like environments and collaboration with product engineers.
• Experience using AI to improve decision-making, workflows, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Join project teams as a security expert, influencing endpoint protection product design.
• Create and update threat models to drive security decisions.
• Read and review source code to identify security flaws and vulnerabilities.
• Think like a hacker and test endpoint applications, including kernel components.
• Collaborate with developers to explain risks and design weaknesses and propose solutions.
• Build tools/automation to assist developers and security tasks.
• Validate bug bounty reports and hunt for related issues across applications.
