Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Endpoint Protection Engineer to own and operate the endpoint security platform within the Cloud Shared Services group. You will lead policy configuration, sensor health, and RBAC integration across Windows, Linux, and macOS in a production environment.

Responsibilities include incident response actions, SIEM/ITSM integration, and continuous process improvement while collaborating with Security Operations, IAM, and Cloud teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems or security platform administration.
• Hands-on experience administering CrowdStrike Falcon or a comparable EDR platform.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts and incident response workflows.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Ability to operate independently in a production enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary administrator and SME for the endpoint protection platform.
• Proactively configure, maintain, and optimize endpoint prevention and detection policies.
• Manage sensor lifecycle, coverage, versioning, and health across enterprise endpoints.
• Administer role-based access controls and identity integrations (e.g., SSO, RBAC).
• Execute response actions in support of Security Operations and Incident Response teams.
• Ensure alerts integrate with SIEM and ITSM platforms.
• Support investigations and post-incident reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, reliability, and automation.
