Leidos in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Principal Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade endpoint security capabilities in a hybrid cloud/on‑prem mission environment.

You will integrate Linux and Windows mission systems with Trellix endpoint protection, tune scan policies, and collaborate with mission teams to resolve security issues and improve performance.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience maintaining Linux and Windows platforms.
• Ability to partner with mission teams to troubleshoot endpoint security integration.
• Experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining and upgrading the central management consoles (Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator) on multiple isolated networks.
• Managing the integration of Linux and Windows mission application servers with the management console.
• Deploying malware protection software updates and improved scan exclusion policies to mission servers.
• Responding promptly to mission teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Automating and improving performance of the endpoint security suite in a hybrid cloud/on‑prem environment.
• Integrating endpoint security scan processes for reporting via Splunk or AppDynamics.
• Investigating malware findings on mission application servers.
