Job summary

Fuse Eng is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3) to lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.

You will translate threat intelligence into actionable IOCs, advise government stakeholders on system risks, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring secure, scalable endpoint protection for national security assets.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required with Maryland polygraph.
• Experience deploying MDE across MECM/SCCM or Intune.
• Experience engineering and managing Trellix HX in restricted networks.
• Strong OS knowledge across Windows, Linux, and macOS; forensics basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture for MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.
• Translate threat intel into custom IOCs using KQL and YARA.
• Advise government stakeholders on system risks and engineering considerations.
• Provide advanced forensic support to the SOC during high-priority incidents.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers within the program.
