Job summary

ABB, a global leader in electrification and smart buildings, invites qualified candidates to join our R&D team focused on prototyping, testing, and certifying new product development for Enclosed Residential products. You will drive certification programs, coordinate sample builds, and work with 3rd party labs to ensure standards compliance across UL, ANSI, CSA, IEC and ISO guidelines.

You will lead cross-functional projects, maintain EN closure files, and collaborate with design teams to input

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
8+ years experience in testing or related field preferred.
Ability to document and analyze data sets.
Familiarity with compliance standards (UL/ANSI/CSA/IEC).

Responsibilities

Coordinate with design teams to develop test programs for new products and cost-out initiatives.
Schedule and facilitate sample builds with manufacturing and prototyping teams.
Act as liaison to 3rd party certifiers to demonstrate standards compliance.
Develop and execute test plans to meet internal ABB requirements and reliability targets.
Coordinate and schedule testing with internal and external labs.
Create test requests based on certification standards and analyze data.
