Job summary

Inteplast Group Corporation is seeking a Sr. Encapsulation Operator in Florida. The role involves operating machines that compress powders into nutritional supplement tablets and filling capsules in a cGMP environment.

You will produce tablets for packaging or bulk shipment and ensure product quality. The position requires experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment, familiarity with tablet presses or encapsulation machines, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.
• Ability to handle job-related stress and maintain productive interactions.
• Minimum 4 years of equivalent machine operation experience; pharma/nutraceutical background preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent with related training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow cGMP regulations before handling materials.
• Set up, operate, and tend tablet encapsulation equipment per specs.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and adjust speeds as required.
• Install punches, dies, segments, and fixtures; perform maintenance.
• Ensure quality per specifications and regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, DEA).
• Measure tablets for weight conformity and record data on cGMP forms.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area; transfer materials as needed.
• Work shifts that are fast-paced and meet deadlines.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures; take on additional duties as assigned.
