Job summary

The Department of Labor - Bureau of Employment Services is seeking an Employment & Training Specialist III for a full-time, on-site role serving multiple locations across Maine. Travel statewide may be required and the position focuses on developing and coordinating specialized employment and training services under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include directing testing, counseling, recruitment, and referrals; budgeting, grants monitoring; program design, evaluation, and reporting.

• Develops, designs, and reports on employment and training programs and performance data.
• Writes reports and responds to inquiries to document services.
• Coordinates program services with other support services to address client needs.
