Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its national practice. The role focuses on complex litigation for employers, with opportunities to lead matters and interact directly with clients.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of employment litigation experience, strong wage/hour and discrimination expertise, and is admitted to the California Bar. You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, and advance strategic arguments across cases.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of employment litigation experience.
• Substantive wage and hour and/or discrimination and harassment litigation experience.
• Class, collective action and/or PAGA experience.
• Deposition experience.
• Strong motion practice and legal writing skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities; experience managing matters with increasing independence.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Admitted to the California Bar and licensed to practice in California.

Responsibilities

• Litigate on behalf of employers in complex employment matters.
• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings, and prepare motions.
• Take and defend depositions; manage case strategy.
• Interact directly with clients and supervise junior attorneys.
• Develop ownership of matters with increasing independence.
