Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Detroit, MI seeks an experienced Employment and Labor Litigation Senior Attorney to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment and labor law, providing strategic legal counsel and representation to employers.

The successful candidate will defend employers in discrimination and wage-hour matters, manage depositions and motions, and lead case preparation for trial, including negotiations in collective bargaining contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in employment and labor litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Michigan, or eligible for admission.
• Strong interpersonal skills and superior judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and articulate legal strategies.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour cases.
• Prosecute and defend non-compete litigation.
• Assist clients with collective bargaining and traditional labor matters.
• Advise on compliance with state and federal employment laws.
• Draft and revise employment policies.
• Handle grievances, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.
