Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel for its Detroit, MI office. The candidate will have a strong background in employment and labor law, providing strategic legal solutions to employers.

The role requires defending and litigating broadly, advising employers, and supervising associates and paralegals in complex matters across courts, arbitration, and agencies.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 9+ years of experience in employment litigation with significant first-chair experience.
• Current MI Bar admission in good standing.
• Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work.
• In-depth understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies in employment matters.
• Handle class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
