Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Employment Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance team. You will advise in-house clients on employment compliance, workplace conduct, leaves, investigations, and employee relations, balancing business needs with risk mitigation.

Role supports multiple locations (Renton, WA; Cape Canaveral, FL; Huntsville, AL) and requires 5+ years of experience, a JD, and bar admission in at least one state with potential admission to WA/FL/AL after hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years providing employment and labor law advice
• Experience handling employment litigation or agency actions
• Ability to balance business needs with risk mitigation and provide clear legal advice
• Eligible to practice law in at least one state and admission in WA/FL/AL after hire

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to in-house clients on employment compliance issues
• Support regulatory matters such as EEOC, OFCCP, AAPs, and EEO-1 reporting
• Draft legal documents and collaborate with HR to scale processes with company growth
