Vitalant is seeking a Sr. Associate General Counsel - Labor & Employment to provide strategic legal guidance on employment, employee benefits, and workforce issues across multis-state operations.

The role partners with Human Resources, senior leadership, and business stakeholders to navigate complex regulations, investigations, and litigation while supporting responsible decision-making and organizational compliance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited College of Law required.
• Working knowledge of multi-state regulations pertaining to transfusion-related or general health care services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic legal guidance on employment, employee benefits, and workforce-related matters, partnering with HR and senior leadership.
• Negotiate and draft employment, separation, settlement, staffing, consulting, and other workforce-related agreements.
• Advise on pay equity, compensation arrangements, wage-and-hour compliance, and related audits/remediation.
• Lead/oversee outside counsel, manage disputes, and supervise litigation/arbitration activities.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, restructurings, and post-transaction integration with due diligence and risk assessment.
• Prepare responses to employment-related inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Monitor developments in labor and employment law and communicate risks to management.
