The Bronx seeks an experienced Senior Employment Attorney in California to independently manage a sophisticated employment litigation docket, including wage and hour matters, FEHA claims, and complex disputes. You will work directly with clients and collaborate with a team dedicated to excellence in employment law.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 7+ years of employment law experience, defense preferred.
• Strong record managing employment litigation matters.
• Experience with wage and hour claims and FEHA.
• Strong deposition, motions, mediation, and trial advocacy.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Commitment to outstanding client service and high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse employment litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Handle wage-and-hour, FEHA, discrimination, and other workplace disputes.
• Oversee multi-plaintiff and representative actions alongside individual matters.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and filings.
• Develop case strategy, supervise discovery, depose witnesses.
• Advise employer clients on practical risk management.
• Collaborate with a team of employment attorneys.
• Contribute to growth of the firm's employment law practice.
