Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to guide complex investigations, advise managers, and maintain confidentiality while delivering fair and impactful solutions.

You will shape decisions that support an inclusive, collaborative culture and the hospital’s mission. You will lead exit interviews, trend analyses, and labor contract work, and assist in PIPs, EAP initiatives, and policy training designed to minimize workplace risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in an employee relations role.
• Experience researching complex HR-related issues and implementing actions.
• Experience supporting audits, surveys, and performing complex reporting; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets/Slides preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct highly sensitive, confidential investigations in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Perform exit interviews and provide data-driven reports and trend analyses.
• Interpret, administer, and negotiate labor contracts; assist in union meeting preparations.
• Develop and monitor performance improvement plans (PIP).
• Promote Employee Assistance Program (EAP) use and support return-to-work initiatives.
• Review and update HR policies, employee handbook, and contracts; deliver training on employee relations topics.
