Job summary

Inova Health System, a leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Northern Virginia, seeks an Employee Relations Consultant to lead high-stakes investigations and advise the Senior Leadership Team on complex matters. The role collaborates with Legal and Compliance to ensure compliant resolutions and drives training initiatives across HR.

The position supports HR Operations in managing anonymous hotline complaints, partnering with HRBPs and compliance teams to ensure thorough, timely processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations.
• Experience investigating complex cases such as harassment, discrimination, and fraud.
• Experience advising senior leadership on employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Investigates highly sensitive team member relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, fraud, and other escalated matters.
• Makes and manages anonymous complaints received through the hotline and conducts follow-up investigations.
• Collaborates with Legal and Compliance to ensure proper handling of investigations and documentation.
• Provides guidance to the Senior Leadership Team (VPs and above) on team member relations issues.
• Develops partnerships with HR, Legal, and Compliance to ensure consistent practices and legal compliance.
• Assists in developing and delivering training on team member relations, compliance, and workplace conduct.
• Manages special projects from HR senior leadership and ensures timely completion.
