Job summary

Leaders Romans Group (LRG) is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide confident employee-relations counsel and lead on complex ER cases across multiple sites. The role is home-based with one day per week in Camberley or Worthing, plus occasional field travel.

You will mentor HR Advisors and support leadership in TUPE, attrition reviews, and HR project delivery. Essential: 3+ years HR Advisor experience, strong UK employment law knowledge, excellent communication, and data interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of HR Advisor experience advising on employee relations with knowledge of employment law.
• Experience running ER cases (disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, redundancies, capability).
• Experience managing business changes such as restructures; ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Handle Employee Relations and act as ER support for investigations.
• Lead on major restructures and on appeals from HR Advisor level cases.
• Review data and partner with regions on ER topics to meet business objectives.
• Support with litigation cases and provide team mentoring.
• Cover HR Advisor Team Leader during leave and support quarterly meetings.
• Deliver HR projects and raise upskilling of managers in HR best practice.

What are we looking for:

Essential

• At least 3 years of recent HR Advisor experience, expertly advising on employee relations matters whilst applying employment legislation
• Experience in running ER cases such as disciplinaries, absence management, grievances, redundancies and capability processes
• Experience in advising on and implementing business changes such as restructures and redundancy processes
• Strong UK employment law knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with experience of building and managing productive relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Experience of managing and interpreting data
• Strong organisational and time management skills in order to manage multiple ER cases simultaneously and with great attention to detail
• Experience of working with HR databases
• Experience of working within a team
• Strong experience of report writing using software such as Microsoft Word
• Ability to be flexible, successfully adapting to changing business needs while delivering excellent service to all stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy and complex role
• Willingness to work flexibly when needed

Desirable

• CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
• Multi-site experience from a central location would be advantageous
