Job summary

Ironclad Defense Works in Norfolk, Virginia, seeks a Senior Electromagnetic Operations & Warfare Capability Development SME to support NATO EMO/EW capability development across the DOTMLPFI lifecycle and provide operational expertise to NATO Joint Effects capability-development efforts.

The role combines operational EMO/EW know-how with requirements management, multinational coordination, and program-management experience in a NATO context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent military-college qualification in engineering, information systems, computer science, project management, business administration, or related field; or bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of recent senior-leader briefing experience.
• At least five years of operational EMO/EW knowledge within the past 12 years at Tactical or Joint level.
• Experience with JICO, data links, NAVWAR, PNT, or Battlespace Spectrum Management is a plus.
• At least two years of program/project-management experience in military capability development.
• At least two years of multinational or NATO experience and familiarity with NATO Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support development of NATO EMO/EW capability products across DOTMLPFI.
• Support Joint Effects program-management activities.
• Develop and maintain capability, operational, system, and interoperability requirements.
• Support EMO/EW doctrine, policies, directives, concepts, CONOPS, and courses of action.
• Coordinate capability development and implementation across lifecycle activities.
• Engage NATO Agencies, national militaries, Centers of Excellence, academia, and technical stakeholders.
• Maintain EMO/EW program status information and support capability validation.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices.
• Support workshops, seminars, meetings, conferences, and multinational engagements.
• Provide analysis and decision support to senior EMO/EW program leadership.
