Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Neurophysiology (EMG) Technologist II to perform highly complex nerve conduction recordings and monitor neurophysiological phenomena using specialized techniques. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited electro-neurodiagnostic technology program required.
• Three years in a clinic or hospital setting performing electrodiagnostic procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain test procedures to patients and answer questions to ensure accurate results.
• Interface with physicians and staff to evaluate and modify testing as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced technologists as appropriate.
• Ensure accurate testing procedures by organizing materials and supplies before patient arrival.
