Job summary

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking a Senior Administrative Analyst to lead the development, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the emergency management planning portfolio. The role acts as the primary planning liaison across internal departments, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure plans are current, compliant, and operationally aligned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with six years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with four years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Analyst classification.
  • Related Field: Emergency Management, Public Administration, Planning, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of emergency management planning portfolio.
  • Serve as a planning liaison across internal departments, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness exercises and regulatory submittals to Cal OES within timelines.
  • Provide SME on Everbridge mass notification and response management platform.
