Job summary

TEKsystems in San Francisco, CA is seeking a hands-on Senior EMC/EMI Test Engineer to drive validation, pre-compliance, and compliance testing for next‑gen compute and connected devices. You will execute radiated and conducted emissions, immunity, and ESD tests, troubleshoot failures, and develop test plans while partnering with hardware, firmware, validation, and regulatory teams.

This fully onsite contract role offers $60–80/hr, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to influence

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience.
  • Strong experience with CISPR 32, CISPR 35, FCC Part 15, IEC 61000-4, and related EMC standards.
  • Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, LISNs, near-field probes, ESD simulators, and EMC chambers.
  • Experience troubleshooting EMC failures and driving corrective actions.

Senior EMC / EMI Test Engineer, San Francisco, CA

Join a team developing next-generation AI-driven hardware technologies. We're seeking a hands-on EMC/EMI Test Engineer to support validation, pre-compliance, and compliance testing across advanced compute and intelligent connected-device platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the lab, solving complex EMC challenges, and partnering closely with cross-functional engineering teams to bring cutting-edge products to market.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute EMC/EMI testing including radiated and conducted emissions, immunity, and ESD testing

What We’re Looking For

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
