Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in Irvine, CA, seeks a Senior EMC Compliance Engineer to lead RTCA DO-160G testing and support EMI/Environmental/Safety compliance efforts for avionics products. You will analyze test results, drive corrective actions, and coordinate certification activities.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years hands-on EMC/EMI experience, with knowledge of FCC filings and certification processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience.
• Experience with avionics standards and RTCA DO-160G testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety testing skills.
• Understanding of regulatory submissions (FCC and others).

As a Senior EMC Compliance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting compliance testing and certification activities.

What's the Job?

• Lead and execute RTCA DO-160G compliance testing for avionics products.
• Perform and support EMI/EMC, Environmental, and Safety Compliance testing.
• Analyze test failures, perform root cause investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support product qualification and certification activities.
• Prepare test documentation, compliance reports, and certification packages.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in EMC/EMI and Environmental Compliance testing.
• Experience with avionics industry standards and RTCA DO-160G compliance testing.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, qualification activities, and safety compliance testing.
• Understanding of certification and regulatory submission processes, including FCC and other compliance bodies.
