Job summary

IVIRMA Global seeks a Senior-Level Embryologist for our Houston, TX laboratory. You will join a team trained to US clinical IVF standards, expanding technical proficiency toward independent execution of core embryology procedures.

The role emphasizes meticulous embryo assessment, culture, and handling while integrating QA/QC practices and safety. Weekend/holiday rotation is required, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on IVF lab experience in the U.S.
• Demonstrated competency in core embryology procedures.
• Strong understanding of embryo morphology and developmental assessment.
• Ability to interpret lab findings in a clinical context.
• High attention to detail and commitment to lab excellence.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IVF laboratory procedures following SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and comply with safety standards.
• Ensure OSHA and laboratory safety compliance.
• Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessments.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues impacting clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to laboratory optimization and research initiatives.
• Attend laboratory meetings and continuing education programs.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and data entry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior-Level Embryologist to join our growing Houston, TX laboratory team. This role is ideal for an embryologist trained in U.S. clinical IVF laboratory standards who is ready to expand technical proficiency and work toward independent performance of all core embryology procedures.

You Will Perform And Refine Skills In

• Oocyte identification and grading
• Sperm preparation and assessment
• Conventional insemination and ICSI
• Embryo culture and assessment (Day 3 & blastocyst grading)
• Embryo biopsy (as trained)
• Vitrification and warming of oocytes and embryos
• Specimen handling and cryostorage management

All procedures are performed in accordance with our Laboratory Philosophy, Quality Assurance standards, and U.S. regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
