Job summary

Applied Physical Sciences Corp (APS) is seeking a senior-level computer engineer to advance underwater maritime systems, including payloads for unmanned underwater vehicles, underwater sensing, tracking and communication arrays. Candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD in electrical/computer engineering with 4+ years focused on embedded systems and FPGA work in Linux.

You will design state machines, implement DSP/MCU software, and integrate SoC/SoM workflows, with hands-on testing and leadership

Qualifications

• 4+ years FPGA development with VHDL and related workflows.
• 4+ years C for Microcontroller/DSP development and testing.
• 4+ years C++ in a Linux environment.
• BS in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience in embedded systems integration, testing, and lab work.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of data handling infrastructure on embedded systems.
• Laboratory testing and integration with larger electronic systems, and field testing of these systems.
• Project leadership.
