Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a senior computer engineer for the Sensing and Communications Department in Groton, CT. The role involves embedded systems design, FPGA development, and C/C++ programming in a Linux environment to support underwater maritime systems and related sensor networks.

Successful candidates will hold BS/MS/PhD in EE/CE and have strong FPGA, VHDL, and DSP knowledge. The position offers relocation assistance and a potential Concord, MA location, with a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering
• MS/PhD preferred for advanced roles
• Strong background in embedded systems and FPGA development

Responsibilities

• Design and development of embedded data handling infrastructure and signal processing algorithms (50%)
• Laboratory testing and integration with larger electronic systems, and field testing (30%)
• Project leadership and coordination (20%)
